Jon Elam
Jon
Elam is the General Manager of the Tamalpais Community Services District
(TCSD) in Mill Valley, California and brings a history of working with
smaller communities. He has a combined experience of more than thirty
years in government management for local and regional agencies in California
and Minnesota. In this role he has worked at the community level to develop
numerous Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance plans.
He has been the Deputy Director for Public Works and the ADA Coordinator for the City of Fresno and City Manager for the City of Brentwood, California as well as various cities in Minnesota.
He has recently attended the United Nations international conference on the environment in Bali, Indonesia. He attended as a delegate for the California Action Registry, a registry created by the California Legislature to help local entities develop an assessment of their greenhouse emissions.
Jon has a degree in History from UC Davis and in Public Administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. He was born in South Pasadena California, and has lived in the San Francisco Bay area for ten years.
